Primary Inclusive Boccia 30.11.2018

Another fantastic Inclusive Boccia event this afternoon at Plympton Academy.  9 teams from different schools - Montpelier, Old Priory, Eggbuckland Vale, Prince Rock, Marine Academy Primary and Salisbury Road cam along to take part in our friendly Boccia event aimed at primary aged children of all abilities. Some of the children who took part today have been with us on previous occasions and some were completely new to the event.

We had some great young leaders from Plympton Academy on hand to show us the ropes, help with the rules and lead the games so no experience is really necessary.

I think that I say it after every one of these festivals but they really are some of my favourite events to run; the children always look like they are having so much fun and the staff seem to have a great time enjoying them play – I would encourage anyone to come and have a look if you get the opportunity.

I would like to say a big thank you to the Leaders today who did a great job running the games. I would also like to say a special well done and thank you to Milan from Montpelier – who volunteered at the start of the event to be a young leader and led her own games all the way through the event! You have been an inspiration Milan – there were a few children that asked if they can help next time as you had done such a great job!

A couple more events coming up this side of Christmas -so check the PSSP website for more details. Hope to see you all soon.
