KS1 Multiskills Festival 20.11.2018

KS1 Multi Skills Festival at Coombe Dean School

This was a multiskills relay festival where each relay had a run, jump, throw or balance element to it and the children had to complete as many relays as possible in 4 minutes to score points for their team.

There were some great team and individual performances from Goosewell and Oreston.  Well done to Dunstone for scoring the most points in the tennis ball balance relay, Elburton won the ladder relay, Montpelier were the balance bar relay champs, Pomphlett had 2 wins in the zig zag and bean bag relay along with Hooe who scored the most points in the zig zag and speed bounce relay.

The overall winners were Wembury who scored a total of 163 points ahead of Pomphlett with 159 points and Montpelier 144 points.  What a great morning of fun, noise and competition which was organised by the Coombe Dean Year 9 BTEC group. They did a great job of demonstrating and motivating. Many thanks to the staff who supported and for their positive comments.
