Tor Bridge Family Y3/4 Football 15.10.18

Today was our annual Tor Bridge Family Y3/4 Football Festival at Tor Bridge High.  We had 4 teams come along today: Bickleigh Down, Leigham, Thornbury and Tor Bridge Primary.  As well as being a great opportunity to meet new people and play Football against other teams, today was a celebration of teamwork. We discussed what this meant and how it could help us in the competition and it was great to see all of the teams put their ideas into practice during their matches.

There was some fantastic Football played today and it was great to see  people encouraging each other, passing and working really effectively as a team. We played a round-robin event so that all of the teams played each other; 5 points were awarded for a win, 3 points for a draw and 1 point for a loss.

Congratulations to Leigham Primary who were the overall winners today. Well done to all of the teams that took part today, you all played incredibly well and should be really proud of your teamwork.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Bella, Ayla and Daisy for volunteering to referee for us today, you did a great job. I’m looking forward to seeing all of your teams again at another of our family events very soon.
