Plympton Academy Family F/KS1 Dance CPD

A great turn out this afternoon for the first of our Primary PE Inset dates at Plympton Academy.

Groups of F/KS1 teachers from various schools all came together to extend their knowledge and aquire new skills and resources to deliver Dance in their schools.

We were incredibly fortunate to have Steph Thomas deliver the session today: Steph is the Dance Specilaist Teacher for Plympton Academy so we were thrilled that she was able to spend some time with us today.

Steph took us through a number of wam up activities designed to get the children thinking creatovely. We also looked at ways in which we could faciliate dance from a number of different types of stimulus.

Everyone who attended today really threw themselves in to the activities and came away with a bank of ideas to try when back at school.
