Children In Need - NEEDS YOU!

On the 14th November the Plymouth Life Centre, are going to be going live on the BBC for Children in Need on the 14th November.

The live feed will be in the pool in the evening when they visit the regions on the main show, we will also be having pre recorded bits done for local news at 2 points during the day.

We have decided to try and run activities throughout the day to help support the charity and really want to publicise and make it a great fun day. We are contacting all our partners and teams to see if this was something you/ schools would like to be involved with somehow.

We will have sports halls available all day and some in the evening and would like to put on some fundraising activities that would also be a bit of a spectacle to watch and keep people entertained. We thought it would be good to have some schools in during the day perhaps who are organising any events for the charity. Stoke Dameral have already been in contact.

Also if you had any teachers up for it, they could do a sponsored jump off the 10m dive board in the morning or evening. Perhaps the schools could sponsor the head teacher to do it and some select pupils come in with them to whiteness it? Just a thought.

If you can just let me know your thoughts we can go from there, doesn’t matter how wackey for now haha all ideas welcome.

Regards, Louise Chaves
