The Plymouth School Sports Partnership would like to announce their ‘Sporting Champions’ programme.  The purpose of the programme is to draw upon the wealth of talent that is developed through Plymouth Schools and to use athletes who are performing at a high level in their chosen sport in order to inspire and motivate other young people within Partnership Schools.

Each PE Specialist teacher will work with their Secondary School to identify and recruit a suitable pupil, or ex-pupil, who will be the ‘PSSP Sporting Champion’.  Each ‘Cluster’ of schools will then have their own ‘Sporting Champion’ and they could be used to deliver inspirational assemblies, award prizes at events, support events like School Games Days etc., within their Cluster Primary Schools.

If you require any further information or would like to nominate a 'Sporting Champion', please contact Anna Clooke - Joint Partnership Development Manager
