Plympton Indoor Athletics

This year’s Plympton Indoor athletics saw two enthusiastic schools compete for a place at the Plymouth finals in February. Old Priory and Chaddlewood primary were very determined to from the first activity with some fantastic scores coming from both teams.

With Old Priory trying to book themselves in the final after their runners up in last year’s final. Chaddlewood had a real task on their hand to gain that final spot but gave it a good go. With some rapid times being recorded on the track and some fantastic scores accumulated on the field these teams made a great afternoon for everyone involved.

In the end Old Priory stole first place with a remarkable 106 points and Chaddlewood runners up with a respectable 74 points.

Congratulations to Old Priory we look forward to seeing you in February and commiserations to Chaddlewood but a huge thank you for attending. A big thank you to the students from Marjon for running the event and special thanks to the students from Hele’s who ensured the event ran smoothly and fairly.
