The 2013 Devon Level 3 Cheerleading Competition was hosted by the Plymouth School Sports Partnership at Plymstock School on 20th March with support from Bev Spragg, Jennie-marie Packham and Exeter Starlites, who as well as acting as judges performed for everyone to close the event.
The event started with a mass warm up for all competitors led by Jennie-marie and then opened with a performance from Boringdon Primary School, the winners of the Plymouth Primary Level 2 Event. The Pom Dance category was won by the Plymstock Elite team who will now go on to open the Devon Winter School Games at Exeter University on 27th March. The winners of the Cheer category were Chulmleigh. Teams from Churston Ferrers Grammer School performed well in both categories earning silver medals in both the Pom Dance and Cheer.
All competitors were a credit to themselves and their schools, we are proud of you!
