2012 Attitude

What an amazing summer it was! We have cheered and celebrated outstanding achievements from TeamGB, ParalympicsGB and athletes from around the world and seen Britain at it’s best.

'What is important here is not the buildings that will be left behind or the parks - but the legacy of attitude. What all of us actually think.  The athletes have done their bit, and the organisers can rightly claim a triumph. But in the coming weeks, months and years this will all only mean something if it has changed the way you think and the way you feel. We have seen what the human body is capable of, now it is the turn of the human brain. The possibilities are infinite. Because this is not the end this is just the beginning.'   Clare Balding
