Event description

Yr 5/6

Most able (more able/G&T)

Teams 8​ ​riders​ ​per​ ​team,​ ​4​ ​from​ ​each​ ​of 2 Year groups​ ​ (​5​ ​&​ ​6). 50/50​ ​gender​ ​split​ ​(i.e.​ ​2​ ​boys​ ​&​ ​2​ ​girls​ ​per​ ​year​ ​group).

Rules - Time​ ​trial​ ​to​ ​seed​ ​riders​ ​into​ ​mass​ ​start​ ​races. Results​ ​from​ ​time​ ​trial​​ ​DO​ ​NOT​ ​​count​ ​towards​ ​final​ ​team​ ​score. Each participant will recieve a number between 1-8 depending on what position they finished in their own team race. 1​ ​Rider​ ​per​ ​team​ ​in​ ​each​ ​mass​ ​start​ ​race, starting with all 8th placed positioned riders down to 1st place positioned riders. Winners recieve 1 point down to 8th place recieving 8 points. All race scores added together. The winning team is the team with the least number of points.

Bike will be provided, helmets are advised to be brought by racers however there will be spares at the event
