This event will be run by Claire Cormack [email protected] in conjunction with the Penathlon Foundation (competitive sport for children with disabilities and special educational needs).
Open to children in Y3 & Y4 on the SEND register. 1 team per school. 8 children per team.
Each team will take part in a series of adaptive/inclusive games designed to challenge them and develop skills such as target throwing, accuracy and team work. An example of the activities on offer can be found at https://youtu.be/cXe7WHeMumQ
Parking on site is an issue so please arrange to park off site and walk your children to the Sports Centre reception (not the main reception) where I will be ready to greet you. We will be starting promptly at 10:00 so please arrive just before so we can sign you in etc. The event is due to finish at 11:30. It will be staff only as parents are not allowed on the schools site during the day - please make this clear on consent forms. Children may be photographed for publicity purposes.
