Option 3 - Help! I can’t teach Dance – Delivered by Plymouth Dance
In these workshops teachers will learn many new useful dance warm-ups, games and strategies for developing pupils dance vocabulary and technique. Teachers will also develop confidence to use a variety of creative resources, including curriculum material to create inspirational choreography.
Course Outcomes
We will explore the importance of workshop/lesson structure and how to ensure the key fundamental curriculum dance skills are including:
Develop balance, agility, coordination, flexibility, strength, technique & control
Perform dances using a range of movement patterns
Compare their performances with previous ones and demonstrate improvements to achieve their personal best
