FA Primary Teachers AwardClose Window

This is not a PSSP event

Plymouth Argyle Community Trust have arranged for The Football Association (FA) to come to the area to deliver The FA Primary Teachers’ Award – a course designed to develop teachers’ confidence to teach high quality PE and support teachers with planning KS1 and KS2 PE lessons.

The course is completely free and you will gain a recognised qualification.

Course content:

* Tutors will present ideas for lessons using games based around fundamental movement skills for 5–11 year olds and the basic principles of invasion games; both of which are linked to the national curriculum.

* Tutors will show how differentiation and assessment for learning can easily be embedded in PE lessons.

* Tutors will give guidance to those teachers who run a school team.

The course is applicable for those who wish to build on their existing knowledge but those with little confidence of PE or football are particularly encouraged to attend!

The course will be predominantly practical. You will also receive a free resource book on completing the course.

If you would like to attend the course please complete the following links by Friday 12th January 2018. The packs will be ordered based on the numbers on this date.

The first is for you to sign up for an FA Number (FAN) so you can be certificated and then the second is to sign up for the course.

You can’t sign up for the course until you have created a FAN. The address you enter in here is where the certificate will be sent;  https://secure.thefa.com/fan/register.aspx

Then you need to complete the registration form:
