Inclusive Sports Festival (PSSP Secondary Inclusion Events)

Tuesday 19th May 2026 - At The Life Centre
Students with SEND from Y7/8/9/10
12 students per school
On arrival, schools will be greeted by Claire Cormack and Sports Leaders from DHSG who will lead the activities. Students will be divided into teams of 4 and each team will take part in a different activity on a carousel. No prior knowledge of any of the activities is required. Students will have the opportunity to take part in Boccia, New Age Kurling and Seated Volleyball. There will be some competitive aspect to the day but this is not the main focus.
Itinerary:
- Schools arrive and in sports halls for 10:15- welcome & intro
- Session 1: 10:30 - 11:10
- Session 2: 11:25 - 12:05
- Session 3: 12:20 - 13:00
- Presentation/finish: 13:00
If you have any students who require any special arrangements, please let me know in advance. Please divide your 12 students into groups of 4 - they will stay with these 4 for each activity.
