National Governing Body Awards

The NGB awards are aimed at talented and gifted leaders who continually show high quality leadership skills and who are ready to take their first step into coaching, officiating or administration of individual sports.

The 2020 awards are offered free of charge to all students, with all costs covered by the Plymouth School Sports Partnership.

All the NGB awards can be delivered in house, at your own convenience & in a format that works for you. The 2020 awards can be delivered by PE teachers who have completed their QTS or by booking a member of the PSSP staff for delivery. The award can be delivered as a one off whole day, in curriculum lessons or as lunch/after school clubs.

• Contact Howard and let him know; How you would like to deliver the award & who you would like to deliver the award
• Course delivery will then be booked/calendared and tutor/candidate resources will be ordered and supplied
• Schools can book a maximum of 1 award per term for a maximum of 20 students (3 per academic year)
• Additional courses can be arranged at an minimum cost
