KS2 Cross Country Event at Coombe Dean Secondary School

Tuesday 6th October 2026 - What a fantastic afternoon of cross country running at Coombe Dean Secondary School!

We were delighted to welcome just over 300 children from 8 local primary schools for an exciting KS2 cross country event. It was wonderful to see so many young athletes taking part, showing determination, enthusiasm and excellent sportsmanship throughout.

There were some outstanding running performances, with children pushing themselves to the limit and supporting one another along the course. The effort, resilience and positive attitude shown by everyone was truly impressive.

A huge well done to all the children who took part — you should be incredibly proud of your efforts!

Thank you to all the schools, staff and volunteers who helped make the event such a great success. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another fantastic sporting event soon!
