Today saw a fantastic turnout for the PSSP Minor Primary Schools Athletics Festival, held at Foulston Park from 10:00am to 2:00pm. A total of 13 primary schools participated, creating a lively and competitive atmosphere throughout the day.

Pupils took part in a wide range of events designed to test their speed, strength, and coordination. Field activities included the vortex throw, long jump, and vertical jump, where students demonstrated impressive technique and determination. Alongside these, a variety of track events kept the energy high, with racers giving their all and cheering each other on.

Despite a few rain showers during the day, the weather did little to dampen spirits. Participants, staff, and supporters showed great resilience, continuing with enthusiasm and making the most of the event.

Overall, the athletics festival was a great success, showcasing not only athletic ability but also teamwork, sportsmanship, and school pride. A big well done to all involved for making it such an enjoyable and memorable day.
