Partnership Year 3/4 Net and Wall festivals

This year’s net and wall festivals were aimed at year 3 or 4 students who may not have had the opportunity to access the tennis events which ran earlier in the month.

Lead by leaders from Notre Dame and Stoke Damerel CC the young athletes took part in games and races aimed around this subject.

Day one was held at the Devonshire health and racquets club and with five teams competing in events such as tennis relays, seated volleyball and target practice. All 50 athletes competed to gain points for their team and with a well contested event it was very close right to the end.

Day two saw four different teams take part and the event was this time held at Stoke Damerel CC but this didn’t detract from the excitement and high level of attainment.

In the end it was St Budeaux C of E who took the spoils on day one whilst on day two it was Stuart Road.

Well done to all who took part and a big thank you to all the young leaders who did an excellent job.
