City schools raise substantial amount for MNDA
The final sponsorship figures for this year’s schools challenge have come in from MNDA (Motor Neurone Disease Association) and the news is excellent. In total schools in Plymouth raised £5107.47 an amazing amount. A big well done to Stuart Road primary who raised a whopping £909 the biggest of any primary and Plymouth high school for girls who raised £1284.76.
With 13 schools raising money for the association and others raising for their own projects this year’s event has been a great year for the local and national charities.
Next year’s schools challenge will be confirmed over the next few weeks and entry forms will be going out soon after that so get your training shoes on and get ready for the endurance event of the year.
