Primary

- Plymouth Raiders are delighted to be able to offer your school theirs 4 Health programme for the 2010/11 season. As you know Hoops4Health is a national programme run by a number of professional basketball clubs and again this year will be delivered to around 700 primary schools across the UK. The programme uses the club's professional basketball players and community coaches as sporting role models to convey a range of positive health messages including the importance of keeping physically active and eating healthily. The programme has been designed with the input and support of PDM's, Sports Development Officers and the SSCO network. The programme has 4 elements - Road show, Coaching, City Finals and National Final. If you require any further information please contact Nikki @ Plymouth Raiders on 07757791091.

- The Junior Indoor Rowing Leaders Award course is being offered on Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd August from 9.30am - 12.30am at Plymstock School. This course is part of Plymouth City Council's youth service summer mix programme, young people can register at www.summermix.co.uk or 01752 306163 / 306596. Please advertise in your schools. - Date for next year: National Schools Sports Week next year is week beginning 27th June 2011.
