Primary

• Plymouth Raiders are delighted to be able to offer your school our Hoops 4 Health programme for the 2010/11 season. As you know Hoops4Health is a national programme run by a number of professional basketball clubs and again this year will be delivered to around 700 primary schools across the UK.  The programme uses the club's professional basketball players and community coaches as sporting role models to convey a range of positive health messages including the importance of keeping physically active and eating healthily.  The programme has been designed with the input and support of PDM's, Sports Development Officers and the SSCO network. • The Junior Indoor Rowing Leaders Award course is being offered on Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd August from 9.30am - 12.30am at Plymstock School.  This course is part of Plymouth City Council's youth service summer mix programme, young people can register at www.summermix.co.uk or 01752 306163 / 306596.  Please advertise in your schools.  Further information available by downloading the attached flyer.  Junior Indoor Rowing Leaders Award.doc
• All SSCO development plans need to be with Mike Carpenter by the end of term please.

• All coaches provided by the SSCO Partnership should now have and be wearing their ID badges in schools.  If a coach is not wearing their ID badge when they attend your school, you have the right to turn them away from their session.  Please contact Paula Morgan on 515385 if this is happening.

• Cheerleading Leaders Level 2 award on 13th July @ Plymstock School 8.45 - 3.30. The cost is usually £95 per person but we will subsidise the cost slightly for girls active therefore the cost will be £65 per person.
