INTRA HOUSE COMPETITION
Over the past year St. Boniface & Notre Dame RC Schools have been working hard to provide an opportunity for all students to take part in regular Intra House/Tutor Competition. In accordance with PESSYP Survey question four, we are trying to provide a regular 12 intra house opportunities, for all year groups and all students, per year.
In an attempt to reach this target we have empowered the schools Leadership Academy students to help plan, organise & run Intra House competitions, both during and outside of the curriculum. These competitions vary form traditional activities such as Netball and Badminton, to more non traditional activities including Rowing, Dance Mats, Quad Kids & Multi Skills.
Both schools have attempted to develop competitions that have a 100% participation rate in all year groups and do not just cater for the more able in traditional team selected sports. All competitions are skill based and incorporate complete year group participation, with all scores being added together to produce final results.
Please find some examples of our Intra House/Tutor competitions attached to this article. Further information can be found under the resources section of the web site.
