Stoke Damerel Primary hockey festival

On Wednesday 19th May the Stoke Primary festival took place at Brickfields. Despite the poor weather all the children enjoyed the afternoon and some fantastic hockey skills were displayed.

Stoke Damerel won for the boys and Cathedral for the girls. Drake also qualified for the City finals after beating St Andrews in a penalty shoot out. All 3 schools will be competing in the City Wide finals on Wednesday 26th at Marjons after school.

The 6th form hockey boys from Stoke Damerel Community College umpired and students from year 9 and 10 supported the primaries and helped run the competiton.

We look forward to next years competition.
