On 19th May pupils from Mill Ford School had the opportunity to try out for a place on the Mill Ford Rowing Team.
The team will compete at this years' Devon Ability Games To Inspire in Tavistock at the start of July.
Rowing machines were taken to the school and set up so that the students could race each other head to head.
Pupils from four classes came along to try out for the rowing team, and staff are now looking at the race results from the day, to decide who has what it takes to race at the big event.
