- Advocating the importance of PE and school sport The recent PDM / LM events around the country built on the message of raising our voice to ensure that the wider audience knows about the transformation that has been taking place through and in PE and school sport. If you have had any success in advocating the importance of PE and school sport, we would like to hear about it, particularly if it is something that can be shared with others. Please forward any information to peter.knight@youthsporttrust.org
- LTSB National School Sports Week Thank you for your work so far in supporting school registrations for NSSW 2010. Please keep on encouraging schools to register, as those SSPs with the highest percentage of schools registering will be put into the pot to win some great “money can’t buy” prizes, including an expenses-paid trip to the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland, and a helicopter ride over the London 2012 Olympic Park.
Over the next few weeks, we will be publishing “league tables” so that you can see how well your SSP is doing! It has become apparent that there might be some confusion over the date of the “Be Part of It” national celebration. This event will take place at 12.20pm on FRIDAY 2nd JULY.
