  • Primary
  •  As part of the SSCO Partnership, a Steering Group Meeting has been arranged for 23rd March.  If any PLT’s have any issues they would like raised at this meeting, please contact your PLT representative Susie Carroll on 01752 567649.

  • Please advertise in your school the year 3/4 multi skills festival being held on19th March at Devonshire Health and Rackets club Derriford from 1pm till 3pm.  Please book your place online.
  • Year 5 and 6 Bikeability Training two day event being held @ Notre Dame on 12th and 13th April from 10 – 3 for £20.  Please advertise in your school.  For further information please download the attached

Secondary

  • Panathlon Reminder  We agreed with Heads of PE that for future Panathlons [including the events at the end of this month] the following criteria would apply;

1] No County players for their representative sport. [a county standard Netball player could play Table Tennis]

2] To use a Devon School Games approach in individual sports.

This may result in some students who do not normally represent their school or spend a lot of time on the bench getting to play. Please remind colleagues of this as appropriate.

  • Devon Games To Inspire - This years Games have finally been confirmed and will take place on Saturday 10 July in Tavistock. The following activities and age groups have now been confirmed:-

 Aquathlon (Swim / Run) - Years 5 & 6, 7 & 8 and 9 & 10 , Athletics - Years 5 & 6,Badminton - Years 7, 8 & 9 ,Girls Cricket - Year 8 and below, Gymnastics - Years 3 & 4, High 5's netball - Years 5 & 6  Mini Soccer - Years 4 & 5, Netball - Years 7 & 8,Street Sports - Years 7, 8 & 9, and 10 & 11       Girls Tag Rugby - Years 8, 9 & 10, Table tennis - Years 7 & 8, Tennis - Years 6, 7 & 8, Volleyball -  Years 7, 8 7 9, Ultimate Frisbee - Years 9, 10 & 11 and Dance - Years 3 to 12.
