Notre Dame played host to the Sir John Hunt Partnership year 5 and 6 Basketball tournament; they also provided some excellent sports leaders to assist with the event. 5 teams competed in the round robin competition on Tuesday 9th February. With some stars of the future on show the afternoon was enjoyed by all. I must say a big thank you to University College Marjon and their ‘Relays’ team for supporting the event and assisting with warm up activities and refereeing the matches. One team won all their matches and therefore won the competition. This was Drake Primary school from the Stoke Dameral partnership. A big well done Beechwood, Drake, High Street, Oakwood and St Budeaux on a fantastic competition.
