The Plymouth & West Devon Primary Schools football tournament was held at the Goals Centre Central Park. There were 56 entries split into 12 groups the winners of each group progressed to 2 finals groups each containing 6 teams. The winner of these groups played the runner up of the other group in a semi final. There was then a 3rd/4th place play off won by St Joseph’s beating Hooe 2-0.
The final was a very exciting game finishing 1-1 between Boringdon and Manadon Vale, 5mins of sudden death could not separate them and it went to penalties. After the first 5 penalties it was 4 each. It then went to sudden death penalties with Boringdon winning.
Final placing 1st Boringdon, 2nd Manadon Vale, 3rd St Joseph’s, 4th Hooe.
