On Wednesday 27th January, 80 students from the SJH family attended the glittering dance festival at Sir John Hunt Community Sports College. As usual the atmosphere was electric, with each school bringing something different. The event was kicked off by all the schools performing the opening ceremony dance, choreographed by non other than the world famous choreographer...me! Beechwood followed this up with a fantastic jive number, displaying their students wonderful gymnasti skills. Oakwood wowed us with a Bollywood hit which include some rather fabulous costumes! Woodlands Special School performed brilliantly to Jason Mraz, followed by Woodfield bringing the house down with the number one hit I gotta Feelin'. Finally Whitleigh performed to Broken Heels by Alexandra Burke.
To close the ceremony, everyone got up and danced the opening ceremony dance, some even sang along. Well done to all who attended, the standard just keeps getting better and better!
