Last week saw students from both Whitleigh primary school and Sir John Hunt Community Sports College engaged in 8 activities which included, cheerleading, table tennis, fencing, ICT, Art, Film club, Multi Skills and Drumming additional opportunities included disability tennis and wheelchair dancing. The students had a chance to sample all the activities before signing up for 2 activities every Thursday for the remaining 9 weeks at the heavily subsidised cost of only 25p an hour!
The evening was supported by the college's excellent Lead learners who supported the primary school students around the school and made them all feel welcome. If you want more information about the evenings and advice about setting the clubs up in your own school contact Mike Carpenter
