For ease of reference we have now combined all articles into 3 sections – Primary, Secondary and All.

 Primary

• Final opportunity to get £500 for of tennis equipment by signing up to the Tennis INSET on the 23rd April Primary Tennis INSET.
• Book onto this terms competitions (See also your SSCo family blog) for year 2 comps.

Year 5/6

• Netball- 19/1 and 20/1 (Bob Powell – previously SDU)

• Basketball- 1/2 ,2/3 (final on 14/2 at cannons game)-(bookings from next week)
• Orienteering League 24/2, 3/3/, 10/3 –(Application available on website)
• Rugby- 1/3 and 2/3 (warm up games before Marjon Tag competition) -)-(bookings from next week)
• Hockey- 8/3, 9/3 and 12/3 (choice of dates warm up for Marjon Hockey)

Year 3/4

• Tennis- 15/3

• KS2 Net/wall- 19/3/ and 22/3 (choice of 2 dates  targeted at those not skilled enough to access tennis comp)

•  Speaking Out Small Grants programme - Use your PTA? Application deadline: 22 January 2010. The Speaking Out project has opened a third round of the Small Grants Programme for 2009-10. This funding is aimed at enabling voluntary and community organisations working with children and young people (aged 0 to 25) in England, who are part of the NCVYS or Children England networks, to apply for small grants of up to £1000 to deliver one-off projects or activities in their local communities. • Talent ID and Selection workshop on the 21st Jan at Exeter University, please find attached course information and booking form.  Please advertise in your school.
