Invasion Games with a Difference
Twelve of the partnership primary schools took advantage of the year 3 and 4 multi skills festivals which looked at invasion games with a difference.
Each team of ten was divided into two on arrival and took part in events such as bench ball, dodge ball, tag and ball related relays.
All of the activities were linked to the major curriculum sports i.e. football, rugby, hockey and netball and also looked at spacial awareness and tactics.
Well done to all who took part and to all the leaders from Sir John Hunt, Stoke Damerel and Eggbuckland Colleges who helped run the events.
If you would like to use the ideas used to run this event which can be used to run an intra schools competition in your school please download the attached resource.
