Austin Farm and St Peters C of E link multi skills to their curriculum.
Last week saw the beginning of the School to Club Link multi skill days for the partnership and Austin Farm primary got us off to a flying start. The day was run with as many classes as possible accessing the training starting with year one and two all the way up to year five. With all teachers present the day was run using the FUN’s resource which is currently being introduced into our schools and with an achievers assembly at the end of the day all who took part benefitted. Each child received a certificate celebrating their achievements and will be linked to the Sir John Hunt multi skills academy which will be run at Notre Dame RC School starting in January.
St Peters C of E school accessed this opportunity the following day and the classes were even more varied starting with a small nursery class up to a very able year six group who demonstrated their skills as the parents watched on at the end of the day.
