KS2 Change 4 Life Festival 2024

The KS2 Change 4 Life Festival had 15 schools take part, making it one of our most popular events of the year. Each school brought 6 children that took part in a range of activities with the vision of being active and having fun. After a short welcome speech, children went to their first activity. The activities for the day were Adventures of Robin Hood, Super Mario to the Rescue, Fruit Mashup, The Temple Run, Hit the Target, Dance Academy, Climbing Wall, Peter Pan and Captain Hook. Children had 2 activities followed by lunch which had special guests, the Lion and the Lamb who are Marjon University mascots. The children then took part in 2 more activities before a Q+A session with special guest Emily Currie. Emily is 21 x national champion surfer who is currently trialling for the 2028 Olympics, we wish her luck in that. The children asked some brilliant questions and had photos with her after the event. All children received a certificate and seemed to really enjoy themselves with lots of smiling red faces. A huge thank you to Marjon University for providing the venue and facilities and some fantastic students who ran some session.
