KS2 Tag Rugby Staff CPD 27.06.2018

Another great turn out for our final staff CPD session for this academic year.  We had 22 staff from several primary schools with us at Tor Bridge High yesterday to update their knowledge and skills for delivering tag rugby.

We were lucky enough to have the extremely knowledgeable Scott Williams with us to lead the session. Scott took us through lots of mini warm up games designed to introduce the children to ball handling whilst on the move; some of the more technical aspects of passing/scoring and catching high balls.

The session culminated in a mini tag rugby competition – it soon became apparent that we have a lot of competitive staff in our schools! My teams won – not saying that was all down to me but…

On behalf of us all, I would like to thank Scott for taking the session – all of the ideas were so useful and I know it is going to be so effective with our children.  Have a great Summer everyone.
