School Games Organiser and Coach for Plymouth School Sports Partnership

  • Contract term: Fixed in first instance – August 2020
  • Grade: F (Full time salary £24,964 - £27,668)
  • Hours: 37 Hours per week full time all year round

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join a dedicated and professional team at the Plymouth School Sports Partnership. The post holder will organise, implement and support a successful School Games programme for all schools across Plymouth. The post holder will also have the ability to coach/deliver sessions within schools to support the School Games programme.

We are looking for an individual with excellent knowledge of school sport, community sport, ideally with previous experience of planning, co-ordinating events and organising competitions.  The successful candidate will be highly organised, with the ability to manage a range of projects at any one time and with good interpersonal skills. The role will require significant partnership working with a wide range of local agencies involved in running and supporting school sport competitions, events and leadership and volunteering opportunities.
