SEND Primary Football 12/03/2014

What a brilliant morning for Football. Today was the penultimate SEND Football competition for Primary schools. We had 7 teams competing today with some teams that are completely new to the event which is great.

As always the main focus for the competition was on Team Work, Fair Play and Respect so as well as an overall winning team, special medals were awarded to the student in each team that best reflected these values.

Stoke Damerell leaders were on hand again to ensure the smooth running of the event by refereeing the matches and helping to organise/coach the teams- thank you all so much – the event is so successful because of all your hard work. A huge thank you to Liz Morbey for organising the leaders again.

The overall winners today (having won all of their games!) was Riverside – congratulations!! A close second (with just 2 points in it) were High Street – well done High Street. The competition was fairly close across the board with all teams playing some really good Football – it was lovely to see 3 teams from Old Priory and Mill Ford so determined and Pennycross scoring some great goals. I really hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did and I look forward to seeing you at the last one of the year on 07th May 2014 (book via the PSSP website).
