February 7th saw the second festival this half term. Teams from Plymstock, All Saints, Brook Green and – a welcome addition- Ivybridge took part in a sunny but icy cold afternoon.
From the first whistle it became clear that this was going to be a really enjoyable afternoon. All the teams played in such a sporting manner that it was a pleasure to witness. Teams that had plenty of players donated players to other teams that were short and players that moved over played their very best – even to the point of scoring goals against their own team! Teams were impeccably behaved and encouraged each other and their opponents. Brook Green were the clear winners , unbeaten all afternoon – congratulations to them!
Katy and Helen are looking forward to the next secondary football event on 13thMarch- everyone welcome! Please book online or contact us for more details.
