Olympic & Paralympic values inspire children at Plymstock

Plymstock School young leaders are inspiring children at Elburton Primary School.

Students from Plymstock have been trained as leaders in Cheerdance, French, Reading and Going-Green!  The leaders are running after school clubs for children in years 4-6 and bringing to life some of the Olympic and Paralympic values of Friendship, Respect, Excellence, Determination, Inspiration, Courage and Equality.  The values are relevant in every club but the children are focusing on excellence in Cheerdance as they rehearse their choreography in preparation for a city-wide competition organised by the Plymouth School Sports Partnership; Courage and Determination in French as they learn a new language; Respect for each other and the environment in Go-Green Club and Friendship in Book Club as the children read and share ideas from a new Roald Dahl book.
