FOOTBALL stars of the future from Bickleigh Down have won a major city tournament for the fourth time on the bounce.
The school won the Plymouth and West Devon Primary Schools tournament, staged at Goals Soccer Centre in Outland Road, against hundreds of opponents.
No less than 55 schools from the area took part in the competition, which involved close to 150 six-a-side games over two days.
About 440 players from Years 5 and 6 turned out in one of the area's most popular tournaments.
The competition ran really well, thanks to help from the Plymouth Argyle students at YMCA and Ivybridge Community College.
