On Tuesday 6th September, students and staff from Woodlands School achieved their goal of getting to Cardiff to watch the Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby Team take on Australia, Japan, Belgium and Sweden in the GB Cup. A warm up competition to the 2012 Paralympics.
We raised £900 and would like to thank the following people for their generosity, Interserve, Chris Perkins, The Bowland Trust, Steph Carey and Andrew Denton without whom this trip wouldn't have been possible.
We would also like to thank Target Travel for transporting us there.
We had an amazing day and the GB team presented us with a signed match ball to take back to school.
