The idea of this event is to introduce Secondary Plymouth Teachers and Coaches to the available mountain biking and cycle ways around Plymouth and other Outdoor Education opportunities. The ideal delegate to attend would be a teacher within the PE department who has an interest or responsibility for OAA. The evening will start at 4.00 at Sir John Hunt and take us around Plymouth by bike showing us the multitude of opportunities outside our school gates. The ride will be lead by Martin Northcott. At some point in the trek we will stop for a meeting to discuss the opportunities you would like the authority and the School Sports Partnership to make available to you. This will include the planning for competitions for the year ahead. The evening should be enjoyable and a good opportunity to network with colleagues from other schools. Of course please tell your partners that this is work!

The route will require moderate fitness and ideally you should bring your own serviceable bike, helmet and gloves but if you would like to borrow one, this is not a problem please email me to let me know (Mikecarpenter2000@yahoo.co.uk)
