Description

Dear Head/PLT

Plymouth and West Devon schools AA would like to invite you to attend this year’s primary athletics which due to government cuts in PLT funding will be held across one whole day to save on time and expense to schools.

As we are running up to the London Olympics we would like to make children in Plymouth aware of the games and their importance. We are therefore proposing that we have an opening ceremony whereby a selection of children from each school will parade around the track with their school banner. We also intend to have a podium for the medal ceremony at the end and would therefore like to encourage all schools to stay for this. Further details of these proposals will follow after entry closes.
