This event is open to all non Plymouth and Devon instructors at a cost of £120. On completion of the booking process you will be sent an invoice, please ensure that full payment along with the invoice are sent to FAO Lance Chatfield, Sir John Hunt CSC, Lancaster Gardens, Plymouth PL5 4AA prior to the conference.
This years Devon Bikeability Conference will comprise of two elements and is compulsory for all instructors who deliver under the Plymouth or Devon contracts.
The timetable for the day is as follows:
9.00am - 9.30am - Arrival and Refreshments
9.30am - 12.00pm - Safeguarding Updates and Whole School Impact
12.00pm to 12.45pm - Lunch
12.45pm - 4.00pm - Carousel of One Hour Workshops
Instructors will attend all three workshops, which will relate to On the Spot Repairs/First Aid (bring the usual kit you carry), Dealing with incidents and difficult situations and common childhood conditions.
There is also the opportunity for all instructors to meet at the end of the day for a leisurely bike ride at Haldon Forest.
