Competitions 2011/12

Proposed format:

All central administration will come from the Central Venue League Secretary this will include;

• Application forms for CVL / knockout competitions as schools request.
• Compilation of entries and raising respective charges to schools.
• Ordering and issuing of certificates / medals  / trophies as appropriate.
• Keeping an annual record of schools success
• Ensuring website is up to date and run effectively.
• All results to be collated by competitions fixtures secretary.

All PE release/ staff working with the project will have responsibility for at least one sport and support with at least one other sport. This responsibility will include;

• Ensuring liaison with the relevant NGBs. Ensuring schools and NGB aspirations for the school games into the CVL / knock – out competitions as appropriate.
• Liaising with the Central venue fixture secretary.
• Attending / taking responsibility for the running of the AGM school sport association as appropriate.
• Liaising with host school to ensure venue hire etc
• Meetings with Manger responsible for competition and reporting on success and problems
• Keeping an overview of the competition and updating website.
• Providing leaders / recruitment of additional staff support to ensure smooth running of the CVL  / competition as required.
• Writing up end of season / competition report including taking photos to be issued / displayed on website.
• Dealing with disputes regarding rules, procedures surrounding sport.
• Informing winning schools of the next round of the competition where appropriate.
• Support for signposting opportunities in their sport.

The list attached indicates the lead and support school / teacher for each of the sports we will be working with this year.
